Mid Cape Towns

Town of Dennis, MA

Sixteen inviting beaches lie on the warm waters of Nantucket Sound to the south and on the crisp refreshing waters of Cape Cod Bay to the north. Numerous recreation trails offer healthful relaxation, and well developed business districts throughout the villages provide ample goods and services. Town of Yarmouth, MA

Town of Barnstable, MA

Comprised of seven villages, Barnstable is the Cape’s largest Town that stretches from Cape Cod Bay to the North and Nantucket Sound to the South. The port of Hyannis is one of two that allow visitors to take a ferry to either Nantucket Island or Martha’s Vineyard. Barnstable is also home to the largest public access airport on Cape Cod. Town of Harwich, MA

The Town of Harwich is a unique cluster of seven villages nestled along Nantucket Sound. Harwich offers historic homes, beautiful sandy beaches, golf, fabulous dining and great family recreation. Town of Provincetown, MA

The Town of Province Town (a.k.a. P-Town) is located at the tip of Cape Cod. P-town is known for it arts, culture and the first landing of the Pilgrims before settling in Plymouth. P-Town harbor offers whale watch cruises to Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary that allows visitors to get an up and close view of whales in their natural environment. Town of Truro, MA

The Town of Truro is one of the smaller Towns on Cape Cod, with a little over 2000 year round residents. Town of Wellfleet, MA

The Town of Wellfleet is home to the world famous Wellfleet Oysters. These Oysters are celebrated each October during their Wellfleet Oysterfest where over 30,000 people descend on this small seaside community to dine on this delicious fruits from the sea. Wellfleet is located in the Cape Cod National Seashore and is also home to a 1000 acre Massachusetts Audubon Society Wildlife Sanctuary. The Islands

Situated off the Coast of Cape Cod are the islands of Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Ferry service to the islands is available from the Towns of Harwich, Barnstable (Hyannis) and Falmouth. Both islands also are serviced from Barnstable Municipal Airport. Whether you are going for a day, an overnight or longer no trip to Cape Cod is complete without a visit to the islands. Hyline Cruises offers an around the sound package where you can see both islands in one day.

Martha’s Vineyard Island, MA
